I loved my trip to Korea, mostly because my good friend lives there and visiting her made my trip.
I tasted a lot of food, i mean a looot, I think it sort of tramatized my fd a little bit that I digested sooooo much food. But they were all so delicious!
I would recommend street food more than high-end restaurants, they are cheaper and more delicious.
And u can always count on running into a celebrity, they will be in those black, expensive looking vans, we just paced around one because we were too scared to knock, lol, still, we enjoyed the presence of the invisible celeb. Lovely memories.

On the bus

I was there with my martial arts, Hwa Rang Do – it was a homecoming for the school and the Grand Master, Dr. Joo Bang Lee. I think it was the 5th day out of a 9 day trip, and we’d been on a bus for most of it. We were driving up the west side of the penninsula, I can’t be more specific about our location, unfortunately. We were on a curvy road pretty deep in the mountains, when we came around the bend into a valley that contained a small village. In the center of this village stood a statue of Buddha which had to be 30 feet tall; it was heads and shoulders above the rest of the bulidings and trees. It was gold in color and the sun’s setting rays captured it perfectly. I think I was the only one on the bus who saw it; many were sleeping or reading, some were just trying to get over their hangovers. I tried to get a picture, but at that moment my camera malfunctioned. By the time it was behaving, we were already around the next bend and up the side of another ridge. All I have of that beautiful moment is a really blurry photograph and an pristine memory.

Missing Korea

I’m half Korean but I’m a true Korean at heart. I love Korean cuisine, dramas and music, fashion, scenery, the fast-paced lifestyle, the people and the culture. It intrigues me endlessly.

I miss my relatives, the street food stalls, the cold winter weather, the late-night shopping, peering out the train window and seeing all the night lights as it crosses over the Han River..

I guess I’m feeling rather nostalgic. I have many fond memories of this place. They say home is where the heart is and my heart is in Korea. I hope to return soon.

A review of this place

I was only here for 8 days, which in my opinion was not nearly enough to truly get a feel for it. But compared to China it is clean, modern, and efficient, and everyone was dead polite and helpful. The scenery was amazing as well, mountains everywhere and all that. Would definitely go back.
